What is Custom Learning?

How we work with you

You’ll have a dedicated Learning Experience Designer to guide you through the entire process, from project scoping and build to delivery and measurement.

1. Project scope

We work with you to understand your learning challenges, goals, budgets and what success would look like for you.

2. Wireframing

We build a working prototype – fast! No complicated planning documents or written storyboards. We bring your ideas to life so we can test, gather feedback, and iterate the design.

3. Project build and delivery

We create all the multimedia elements that will make your learning experience a success - animations, videos, podcasts, graphic design, infographics, illustrations, translation – whatever it takes..

4. Measurement and evaluation

We then measure and evaluate success against the outcomes we defined in the project scope.

What our clients say

The outcome framework process Ross and his team provided has been a game changer for Phi Delta Theta. We consistently use this framework structure to develop new, engaging e-learning modules. As a result, we are much more efficient and productive, with almost 30 new modules developed since we first began working with Ross.

Having worked with the team for a number of years now, I am always impressed with their openness and their understanding of what we want to achieve. When changes in organisational priorities mean that a brief alters during a project, they are always flexible and understanding. The team are very much seen as an extension of our team here at the International Baccalaureate.

Frequently Asked Questions

We mean an e-learning resource created specifically for you, based entirely on the business outcomes you need to achieve.

‘E-learning’ effectively means electronic learning. That’s any piece of content that can be accessed on the web. It doesn’t have to be a long, formal course. We can develop anything from a simple checklist, through video, animation and infographics, to a more intensive e-learning experience.

Collaboration is the key here. We spend time upfront getting to know your business, your colleagues, what you need to achieve, what problems need to be overcome and what challenges must be met. We’ll propose a solution (or solutions) that will best achieve the outcomes we’ve identified in partnership with you.

We’ve worked with a number of clients over the years, including Google, Heineken, Salesforce, Virgin Money, International Baccalaureate, Manchester Airport Group and Standard Life Aberdeen.

90% of our clients have commissioned subsequent solutions from us. That’s a pretty good rate of confidence in what we do!

Our solutions are fully SCORM and Tin Can compliant, so they’ll load straight into your LMS regardless of the system. If you don’t have an LMS, we can discuss alternate options with you. Our solutions are fully responsive. They work on desktop, tablet and smartphone without any compromise to your learners’ experience.

You do. Part of our agreement with you is that the intellectual property of the custom content we create for you is owned by you.

Absolutely not. Our process is collaborative and we involve you every step of the way. From determining the correct tone for the text, choosing an artwork style, selecting a voiceover artist and deciding on an animator, you’ll be making decisions with us to ensure that what we produce really works for your organization.

That very much depends on what we, together, determine is the best solution for your desired outcomes. However, we do have indicative pricing available on request, to give you an idea. Alternatively, if you have a fixed budget to work to, we can talk to you about your options.

This very much relies on what we’re producing for you. However, a rough guide is three months for one hour’s worth of content. This allows for proper review cycles. Obviously, smaller-scale projects can be delivered more quickly.
