New research report now live!
Last week we released our 2017 L&D research paper Learning Technologies: What Managers Really Think at an exclusive launch event in central London. Over 80 learning leaders and practitioners joined the GoodPractice team to hear our MD Owen Ferguson share the findings and debate what they mean for our profession. You can download your copy here.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along on the day.About the report
In the field of L&D there are some well-established narratives and perceptions around learning technologies. What is less clear are the perceptions of the people who decide how employees will spend their time – managers. What do they really think about learning tech, how do they react to it and make use of it themselves? How managers feel about learning tech will undoubtedly have a powerful impact on its use. In Learning Technologies: What Managers Really Think we delve into this tricky issue and discover some interesting (not to mention surprising) results. If you missed it
You can now download your copy of Learning Technologies: What Managers Really Think. Owen will be also presenting the findings an in an LSG webinar on the 14th December. Hosted by Don Taylor, this is a great opportunity to hear about the findings first-hand.Social media and Storify coverage
We had lots of great coverage on social media, with the event hashtag trending in London. Here are a selection of some our favourite tweets from the launch.A special mention goes to Rachel Burnham for her sketchnote, which provides a colourful summary of the report's main findings.
Live podcast recording
The audience were also treated to the first ever live recording of the Good Practice podcast, which featured plenty of killer questions from the audience, plus insightful commentary and anecdotes from our entertaining hosts Ross and Owen.
