Ideas exchange: How workplace learning can support ED&I initiatives

How can you create a culture of inclusion? In our ideas exchange with Craig Laughton and Katie Wynn from LNER, we learned about their past experiences implementing ED&I strategy, from recruitment, to employee learning and development.

During the session, like-minded professionals working within the transport, logistics and associated industries came together to discuss their pain points, their success, and joined an open discussion forum.

The discussion covered:

  • ED&I learning challenges that the industries are facing right now, and the current barriers to change

  • How workplace learning can support ED&I initiatives, and measuring the success of your strategy

  • What leaders can do to ensure all staff, regardless of where they sit in the organisation, get access to self-directed learning

  • LNER’s ED&I strategy, their past successes, and how Mind Tools for Business helped them achieve their goals
