Top 5 tips to get the most from LT 2020

Step 1: Follow the event's content feeds

Stay connected before, during and after the conference. We’re talking LT’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. That way, you can keep an eye on what everyone’s talking about, arrange a coffee with peers, and share your thoughts with the hashtag #LT20UK.

Step 2: Get tips from other attendees

If you’re new to LT, it's a good idea to talk with seasoned attendees who’ve been before. They can give you advice on how to navigate the two days.

And when you're there, keep talking to people! Ask what they think about sessions, share your opinions and get a different perspective on things.

Step 3: Don't be afraid to leave sessions

For whatever reason, sometimes sessions don't deliver what they promise. If this happens to you, get up and go find a better session.

You can also watch any sessions you miss on the Learning Technologies resources page. It has a web TV channel with videos of conferences, sessions and exhibitions.

Step 4: Attend the after party

Networking doesn’t have to stop with canapés. Day one is particularly strong on after parties like the LearnPatch barcamp event where you can carry on the conversation.

If you’re in town before the event, there’s even a pre-party to check out.

Step 5: Follow-up on your new contacts

Don't let leads go cold. Follow up with new contacts you make at LT.

Connect with them, share your thoughts on sessions, and ask for their opinions on the event. You could even blog about your experience on LinkedIn.
