Roundup: Mind Tools for Business at Learning Technologies 2022

After two long years, we finally made it – Learning Technologies 2022 was underway, and we were there to see its return. It was great to see our fellow exhibitors and L&D practitioners in person, and we had some great conversations around our performance tools and how they can help in the reimagined workforce.

On the stand, we led with our message of “Perform. Manage. Lead” – the desired end result we want learners using our resources to achieve. But, for us, it’s more than a tagline. It’s been built by our 25-year heritage of providing great learning content directly to the consumer. We now provide resources for organizations worldwide, by digging deep to discover what our users' needs are and what impact our resources create in their lives.

Here is some of what we got up to at the event...

Session roundup: Reimagining workplace learning - Early insights from our annual L&D benchmark report

FR6aeQHWQAA4R0Q.jpgOn the first day of Learning Technologies 2022, we hosted a great session where we were able to share some key themes and insights for a reimagined workplace.

During the session, Mind Tools for Business’ Chief Impact Officer, Nahdia Khan, and Head of Research, Gent Ahmetaj, explored the latest L&D trends from the upcoming Mind Tools' Annual L&D Benchmark Report.

This data-led, annual report helps readers to identify how L&D leaders and strategists' approach organizational learning, what top-performing organizations are doing differently, and how you can create real, long-lasting change across your organization.

Here are five interesting insights from the session.

Celebrating 25 years of Mind Tools

On Wednesday afternoon, we invited some attendees to join us for an informal catch up over a cupcake and a glass of fizz, as we said “cheers!” to 25 years of Mind Tools.

Following day one of Learning Technologies 2022 we held a live event at Tapa Tapa ExCel to celebrate 300 episodes of our podcast!

Session roundup: Empowering people to thrive at work using on-demand performance tools & resources

Day two started and we were back on the stand to engage in some great conversations about our performance tools. We were also joined by one of our clients at a bite-size learning session, in the afternoon, to talk through their experience of using the Mind Tools for Business toolkit.

During the session, Colin Beaton, Senior Client Partner at Mind Tools for Business, led a Q&A discussion with Jenny Martin, Learning & Development Manager at the RSPCA to discover how Mind Tools’ “in-the-moment” performance tools and resources have made a positive impact on their organization.

You can view a brief round-up of the Q&A session, here.
